Ingredients

  • 6-7 cups of apples
  • ¼ cup of brown sugar
  • ½ cup of white sugar
  • 2 tbsp of flour
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of nutmeg
  • lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel, core and slice apples
  2. Mix all ingredients together (can freeze at this point)
  3. Place slices on bottom crust, cover with top. Slice vent holes into top
  4. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes, then 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour
